Der Nationalpark befindet sich im namengebenden Zyon Canyon. Per Shuttle Bus wird man auf einem Scenic Drive durch den Canyon geführt. Dabei kann man an mehreren Stationen aussteigen und einzelne Hot Spots besuchen oder Wanderwege meistern. Wir sind den Großteil von Angels Landing gewandert, wovon man eine atemberaubende Aussicht hat.
Wem diese Gegend bekannt vorkommt, erinnert sich möglicherweise noch an die Marlboro Werbung aus 1993, als die Landschaft als Hintergrund diente. Sehr beeindruckende Kulisse. Man kann mit dem Auto eine Tour fahren und sieht so die Felsformationen hautnah! Lohnenswert!

Wer gerne Kraftsport betreibt, der hat schon einmal von Gold's Gym gehört! Hier hat Arnold Schwarzenegger jahrelang seinen Körper geformt. Wir haben hier auch seinen Sohn beim trainieren gesehen. Mit etwas Glück sieht man auch aktive Athleten dort. Allerdings kostet der Tagespass 40 Dollar. Das ist schon sehr grenzwertig.
Von der Observatorium Plattform aus konnten wir diesen Sonnenaufgang betrachten. Es war zu Beginn etwas nebelig, aber mit der Zeit hat sich dieser verzogen und die Sonne erstrahlte über der Stadt. Sogar morgens ist hier schon gut was los. Das liegt daran, dass man eine super Aussicht über die Stadt hat.
Das Griffith Observatorium bietet eine super Aussichtsplattform um den Sonnenauf- oder Untergang über Los Angeles anzuschauen. Wir waren morgens dort und es hat sich definitiv gelohnt.

Just enjoying one of the best sunsets in my life on top of the Moro Rock after an incredible hiking among the giant sequoia trees at the Sequoia National Park ??????. Such a peaceful, silent and solitude place with a wonderful view.
