Paracas is a nice and quiet town at the pacific coast. You can do a tour with a boat to the Islas Ballestas where you can see a lot of birds, sealions and penguins. You can also visit the National Reserve where you have nice beaches and a beautiful landscape. Perfect place to calm down and chill for some time
Best thing you can do in Huacachina is a tour with a buggy and sandboarding. It's just so much fun driving through the Desert like crazy. And going down a 80 m-dune on a small wodden board is just amazing.
The Colca Canyon is the second deepest canyon of the world and far deeper than the Grand Canyon. You can do some hiking there, enjoy the Hot springs and observe the majestic flights of the Andean Condor.
At the end of a four-day-Trek I arrived at Machu Picchu Pueblo. The next day I climbed up the 1700 stairs to Machu Picchu in the rain. But as you can see Machu Picchu is still impressive even when you're wet and tired. Unbelieveble architecture in a stunning landscape. I spent several hours there exploring the city... Just beautiful!
Ollantaytambo was one of the most important citys of the Inka Empire because the city resits the spanish conquerors for a long time. The ruins of Ollataytambo are very interesting and you have a lot of nice viewpoints in different valleys. A visit is really worth every Cent when you're in the region.
Cusco is located in the Andes on an Altitud of aprox 3.300 m. We climbed up some stairs to the church of San Cristobal and had that nice view over the city. Cusco is a very beautiful city but there are for sure a lot of tourists and a lot more people who wants to sell you stuff.
