This little hidden gem here is the perfect place to relax after a hard day of volcano hiking or exploring the island. Naturally fed with salts from the two volcanos, the cold water relaxes and restores your body. They also sell cocktails served in cocktails which definitely helps as well!
I spent two weeks backpacking through Nicaragua. We started in the north and made our way down south ending in San Juan and Granada. It was the perfect mix of beautiful beach days, relaxation, adventure and fun!
Nice view on San Juan del Sur from the Jesusstatue on top of the bay. Easy to get there and totally worth it.
Really gorgeous sunsets there and a perfect spot to go surfing. But not much more and quite expensiv for being part of Nica
Granada is a very nice city with a lot of beautiful buildings from the colonial time. It's not big, but you can just slow down here and enjoy life. And don't miss to have some closer looks at the inner yards of the buildings. You will like it.
We climbed that volcano through the cloudforest. Beautiful trek with a nice view on the craterlake. Worth it but really steep and slippery, so be prepared if you want to do it.
Wasn't up there but the view to the volcano is very nice top. And often are clouds surounding the peak. Loved it.
